Hessen Kassel Heritage adjusts admission prices

New admission prices for museums and palaces

For the first time in more than ten years, Hessen Kassel Heritage is adjusting the admission prices for the museums and palaces as of April 1, 2025. This also applies to the other institutions Insel Siebenbergen, Großes Gewächshaus and Planetarium. The price for a one-way ticket will rise from 6 euros to 8 euros, while a reduced ticket will cost 5 euros instead of 4 euros. Children and young people up to the age of 18, school pupils and students of the University of Kassel will continue to be admitted free of charge. The FamilienApp Hessen also gives families free admission to the Hessen Kassel Heritage facilities.

“Hessen Kassel Heritage stands for openness, diversity and cultural participation. We live these values every day and want to pass them on to our visitors. It is particularly important to us that everyone has the opportunity to visit our museums, palaces and parks. We therefore make sure that our prices are fair and transparent. In order to be fair to everyone, we regularly adjust the conditions for discounts and free admission. The costs for our annual and season tickets of 60 euros and 20 euros are not changing either,” explain interim directors Christoph Klein and Justus Lange.

Varied program in 2025

Hessen Kassel Heritage is inviting interested visitors to its museums, palaces and parks this year with a varied cultural program. With the start of the summer season on April 1, 2025, visitors can expect not only new admission prices, but also many different offers for different interests and age groups.
